Neal Francis in Rockport

Neal Francis is an American singer, songwriter and keyboardist based in Chicago who plays funk, soul and psychedelic rock rooted in 1970s grooves. His solo catalog began with Changes in 2019 and continued with In Plain Sight in 2021, home to “Can’t Stop the Rain” and “Prometheus”; “She’s a Winner” is another of his best-known songs. Neal Francis performed at Bonnaroo in 2022, bringing material from In Plain Sight to the festival. The following year, he assembled an expanded ensemble for Francis Comes Alive, a performance documented as a live album and concert film at Thalia Hall.
