Artist
Nekromantix are a Danish psychobilly band formed in Copenhagen in 1989 by singer and bassist Kim Nekroman. Their music pairs fast punk guitar with rockabilly rhythms and horror-themed lyrics; key releases include Hellbound, Curse of the Coffin and Return of the Loving Dead. In 2003, Nekromantix played the Vans Warped Tour in the United States. After Kim Nekroman moved to Los Angeles, successive lineups toured North America while the band continued to perform across Europe and in Japan. The live format is a three-piece built around lead vocals and a custom coffin-shaped double bass played by Kim Nekroman.
