Nektar is a British progressive rock band formed in Hamburg in 1969. The group became known for long-form, psychedelic concept records including Journey to the Centre of the Eye, A Tab in the Ocean and Remember the Future. A 1973 performance at London’s Roundhouse was documented on the live album Sunday Night at London Roundhouse. After re-forming around 2000, Nektar returned to American stages and performed at Pennsylvania’s NEARfest in 2002.
