Artist
Nine Days is an American pop-rock band formed on Long Island in 1994. The group is best known for “Absolutely (Story of a Girl),” the lead single from its major-label album The Madding Crowd; “If I Am” also appeared on that record. During the 1990s, Nine Days built an audience through a long-running Monday-night residency at the Village Pub in Port Jefferson. After its major-label release, the band toured nationally, led onstage by co-frontmen John Hampson and Brian Desveaux.
