Noiserv in Figueira da Foz Municipality

Noiserv is the solo project of Portuguese musician and multi-instrumentalist David Santos, launched in Lisbon in 2005. He makes intimate indie and experimental music using acoustic instruments, small percussion and layered loops. His best-known records include One Hundred Miles from Thoughtlessness, Almost Visible Orchestra, 00:00:00:00 and the Portuguese-language album Uma Palavra Começada por N. Noiserv performs alone, using guitar, piano, percussion, toy instruments and loop pedals to construct his arrangements in real time. He has taken that setup through Portugal and elsewhere in Europe, including performances at Paredes de Coura and NOS Alive. Outside Portugal, he has also appeared at Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen.
