Artist
Nuovo Testamento is an Italian-American synth-pop trio formed in 2018 and based between Los Angeles and Bologna. Chelsey Crowley, Andrea Mantione and Giacomo Zatti draw on Italo disco, darkwave and post-punk; the albums New Earth and Love Lines, along with songs including “Michelle Michelle” and “Heartbeat,” established the group’s bright, rhythm-led sound. In 2022, the trio supported Molchat Doma on a North American tour, taking material from New Earth into larger theatres. Nuovo Testamento later headlined club dates around Love Lines in the United States and Europe. Their festival appearances have included Cruel World in Pasadena and Grauzone in The Hague.
