Artist
Los Retros is the American indie-pop project of Mexican American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mauri Tapia, who grew up in Oxnard, California. His music draws on soft rock, psychedelic pop, soul and Latin American pop, and includes the songs “Someone to Spend Time With” and “Amtrak,” as well as the releases Retrospect and Everlasting. Los Retros performs Tapia’s songs with a live band, with Tapia singing and playing guitar. Following club dates around the United States, the project performed at Coachella in 2022.
