Slightly Stoopid & Ice Cube in Salem

Slightly Stoopid is an American band formed in 1995 in Ocean Beach, San Diego. They play reggae rock, ska, dub, punk and funk, and were signed to Bradley Nowell’s Skunk Records early in their career. Their best-known recordings include the albums Everything You Need and Closer to the Sun, as well as the songs “2am,” “Collie Man” and “Officer.” In 2012, they performed with 311 and The Aggrolites on the Unity Tour, which visited amphitheatres across the United States. They later established Closer to the Sun as a recurring destination event in Mexico and have repeatedly headlined Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Ice Cube is an American rapper, actor and filmmaker born in Los Angeles in 1969. He first became known as a member of N.W.A before establishing a solo career through albums including AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted, Death Certificate and The Predator. “It Was a Good Day” and “Check Yo Self” are among his signature tracks. The Up in Smoke Tour took him through North American arenas in 2000 alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem. In 2013, he returned to major venues on the Kings of the Mic Tour with LL Cool J, Public Enemy and De La Soul. At Coachella in 2016, Ice Cube brought members of N.W.A into his set. He made his Glastonbury debut on the West Holts stage in 2024.
