Onyx in Gdansk

Onyx is an American hardcore hip-hop group formed in Queens, New York, in 1988. Fredro Starr, Sticky Fingaz, Sonny Seeza and Big DS established the group’s early lineup. Onyx is best known for the 1993 album Bacdafucup and its singles “Slam” and “Throw Ya Gunz.” The group performed at Woodstock ’94 during the touring cycle behind Bacdafucup. Nearly three decades later, Onyx met Cypress Hill in a Verzuz concert at the Kia Forum in Inglewood in 2022.
