Opiuo in Milwaukee

Opiuo is the electronic music project of New Zealand producer Oscar Davey-Wraight, who is based in Melbourne. He makes bass-heavy glitch-hop and breakbeat, and is known for the track “Robo Booty” and albums including Meraki, Omniversal and A Shape of Sound. The Opiuo Band gave the project a live-ensemble format on tours in Australia and abroad. In 2018, Opiuo expanded that approach at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with the Syzygy Orchestra; the concert was later issued as a live recording. Opiuo has performed at Shambhala Music Festival in British Columbia and Electric Forest in Michigan.
