Osees in Missoula

Osees are an American rock band that began in San Francisco in the late 1990s as John Dwyer’s recording project. Previously billed under names including OCS, Thee Oh Sees and Oh Sees, they play garage rock, psychedelic rock and punk shaped by noise and motorik rhythms. Their best-known records include Carrion Crawler/The Dream, Floating Coffin and Mutilator Defeated at Last. The 2016 album and concert film Live in San Francisco documented performances at The Chapel. Osees subsequently appeared at Glastonbury and Primavera Sound, while Levitation in Austin has hosted the band repeatedly. Osees perform as a full electric band, and their established concert setup places two drummers side by side. Guitar and vocals remain at the center of the stage under John Dwyer.
