The Ozark Mountain Daredevils are an American country-rock and Southern-rock band formed in Springfield, Missouri, in 1972. They are best known for “If You Wanna Get to Heaven” and “Jackie Blue,” while the albums The Ozark Mountain Daredevils and It'll Shine When It Shines established their mix of rock, country and folk songwriting. The Ozark Mountain Daredevils toured behind their A&M Records albums throughout the 1970s and continued performing through later changes in personnel. The band marked its 50th anniversary with hometown concerts at the Gillioz Theatre in Springfield.
