Patrick Watson in Liverpool

Patrick Watson is a Canadian singer-songwriter, pianist and composer who was born in Lancaster, California, and raised in Hudson, Quebec. Based in Montreal, he also uses his name for the band that records and performs his chamber pop and indie folk songs. His best-known work includes “Je te laisserai des mots,” “The Great Escape” and “Lighthouse,” while the album Close to Paradise won the Polaris Music Prize. Patrick Watson and his band toured behind Close to Paradise and Wooden Arms, playing theatres and festivals including Coachella and Glastonbury. He performs at the piano with a full band, and his hometown concert history includes the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal.
