Pe Werner in Hanover

Pe Werner is a German singer-songwriter, born in Heidelberg in 1960, who works across pop, chanson and musical cabaret. She is best known for the 1991 album and title song “Kribbeln im Bauch,” which established her distinctive mix of melodic songwriting and sharply observed German lyrics. The Christmas programme “Ne Prise Zimt” became one of her recurring theatre concerts, combining seasonal songs, chansons and spoken stories. She later brought the retrospective programme “Vitamin Pe” to German theatres, revisiting her catalogue in a piano-led format with Peter Grabinger.
