Pepper & The Movement in Cocoa

Pepper is an American reggae-rock band formed in 1997 in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Its music draws on reggae, ska, punk and dub, and the band is known for songs including “Give It Up” and “Ashes,” as well as the albums Kona Town and No Shame. Pepper played the Vans Warped Tour and joined 311’s Unity Tour during its early years on the road. In 2022, the band toured with Slightly Stoopid on the Summer Traditions tour. Pepper has also returned to the California Roots Music and Arts Festival in Monterey and Reggae Rise Up Florida in St. Petersburg.

The Movement are a Danish mod-punk trio formed in Copenhagen in 2002 by singer and guitarist Lukas Scherfig. Their music draws on punk, ska and soul, and they are known for the albums Move! and Revolutionary Sympathies, as well as songs including “Control Your Temper” and “How Come?” The Movement have toured clubs and punk festivals across Europe. Their concerts use a three-piece guitar, bass and drums lineup led by Scherfig, and the band has also performed in Japan.
