Pernilla Wahlgren in Helsingborg

Pernilla Wahlgren is a Swedish pop and schlager singer, actress and television presenter, born in 1967. Her 1985 Melodifestivalen entry “Piccadilly Circus” became her signature song, and she later returned to the competition with “Tvillingsjäl,” “Let Your Spirit Fly” alongside Jan Johansen, and “Jag vill om du vågar.” Pernilla Wahlgren toured Sweden with the autobiographical music-and-comedy production Kort, glad & tacksam, followed by Pernilla Wahlgren har Hybris and Pernilla Wahlgrens Happy Ending: Den första avskedsturnén. These shows combine songs from her pop career with scripted sketches and ensemble comedy. She has performed the productions repeatedly in Stockholm and Gothenburg and has also taken them to Malmö.
