Peter White & Vincent Ingala in Newport Beach

Peter White is a British guitarist and composer, born in Luton in 1954, whose music sits in smooth and contemporary jazz. He first became known through his long association with Al Stewart, contributing to albums including Year of the Cat and co-writing “Time Passages,” before establishing a solo catalog that includes Reveillez-Vous, Caravan of Dreams and Glow. In 1975, Peter White began touring with Al Stewart, starting a partnership that extended across concert tours and studio recordings. His later live work has centered on his own instrumental repertoire, and he has also presented the recurring A Peter White Christmas shows with trumpeter Rick Braun and saxophonist Mindi Abair.

Vincent Ingala is an American saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist from Connecticut who plays contemporary smooth jazz. He introduced his recording career with the album North End Soul; later releases include Can't Stop Now, Coast to Coast, Personal Touch and Fire & Desire. The Dave Koz Cruise has featured Ingala among its smooth-jazz performers. He has also appeared at the Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival and Seabreeze Jazz Festival, extending that festival history to Berks Jazz Fest.
