About Petra Marklund
Petra Marklund is a Swedish singer and songwriter, born in Stockholm in 1984, who released electronic dance-pop under the name September before recording in Swedish under her own name. Her best-known songs include the international dance track “Cry for You,” her version of Petter’s “Mikrofonkåt” and the solo single “Händerna mot himlen”; key albums include In Orbit and Inferno.
During the summers of 2014 and 2015, she hosted the live singalong series Allsång på Skansen. The weekly broadcasts featured Marklund singing and introducing guest performers on Stockholm’s Solliden stage.
