Pokáč is the stage name of Czech singer-songwriter Jan Pokorný, born in 1990. He writes folk-pop songs built around acoustic guitar, conversational lyrics and dry humour, and is known for tracks including “Mám doma kočku,” “Vymlácený entry” and “Matfyzák na discotéce,” as well as the albums Vlasy and Úplně levej. Pokáč played clubs and festivals around the Czech Republic before presenting a headline concert at Forum Karlín in Prague. In 2022, he took the same song-led format to a headline show at O2 Arena.
