Artist
Powerwolf are a German power-metal band formed in Saarbrücken in 2003. Heavy riffs, church organ and choral hooks frame songs steeped in religious and werewolf imagery. Albums including Blood of the Saints and The Sacrament of Sin produced concert staples such as “We Drink Your Blood,” “Army of the Night” and “Demons Are a Girl’s Best Friend.” Powerwolf took Blood of the Saints on the Wolfsnächte Tour in 2012, and later editions of the same headline series followed in 2015 and 2018. After those European runs, the band mounted its first North American headline tour in 2023. The band has returned for concerts in Vienna and Paris; in 2024 it played a headline show at OVO Arena Wembley in London.
