Artist
Pro-Pain is an American hardcore and metal band formed in New York City in 1991 by bassist and vocalist Gary Meskil. The group established its heavy, groove-driven sound on the debut album Foul Taste of Freedom, followed by records including The Truth Hurts and Contents Under Pressure. The 2001 live album Road Rage documented Pro-Pain in concert after years of touring on both sides of the Atlantic. The band has maintained a particularly strong presence in Europe, including performances at Dynamo Open Air in the Netherlands and Wacken Open Air in Germany.
