Rade Šerbedzija in Ljubljana

Rade Šerbedžija is a Croatian actor, director, poet and singer, born in 1946 in Bunić. His music draws on chanson, folk and spoken poetry; his best-known pieces include the recitation “Ne daj se, Ines,” written by Arsen Dedić, and the album Ponekad dolazim, ponekad odlazim, recorded with guitarist Miroslav Tadić. Rade Šerbedžija has long performed with the band Zapadni Kolodvor, presenting songs, poetry and stories in theatres and concert halls. The Ulysses Theatre, which he co-founded, has made the Brijuni islands a recurring setting for his summer performances. Croatia and Slovenia have hosted much of his regional concert work, including repeated performances in Zagreb and Ljubljana.
