Raga Rockers in Tønsberg

Raga Rockers are a Norwegian rock band formed in Oslo in 1982 by singer and songwriter Michael Krohn, formerly of Kjøtt. Their direct, punk-edged rock and Norwegian lyrics placed them among the group commonly called «de fire store» of Norwegian rock. Key recordings include the albums Maskiner i Nirvana and Varme dager, and the songs «Noen å hate» and «Hun er fri». Raga Rockers have played repeated headline concerts at Rockefeller, while larger hometown dates have taken the band to Sentrum Scene. Their concerts are full-band electric performances built around Krohn’s Norwegian-language catalogue. Øyafestivalen has hosted the band, and its harder-edged festival appearances include Tons of Rock.
