Randy Rogers Band in Crystal Beach

Randy Rogers Band is an American Texas-country group formed in San Marcos in 2000 by singer-songwriter Randy Rogers. The band is known for the albums Rollercoaster and Just a Matter of Time, as well as songs including “Kiss Me in the Dark,” “In My Arms Instead” and “Buy Myself a Chance.” The band documented its stage work on the 2005 album Live at Billy Bob’s Texas, recorded in Fort Worth. Randy Rogers later began the acoustic Hold My Beer and Watch This tour with Wade Bowen, while the full group returned to live-album format in 2014 with Homemade Tamales: Live at Floore’s, recorded in Helotes. The partnership between Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen also produced the collaborative albums Hold My Beer, Vol. 1 and Hold My Beer, Vol. 2.
