Neville Staple in Blackpool

Neville Staple is a Jamaican-born British singer and toaster associated with Coventry’s 2 Tone movement. He became known through The Specials, contributing to records including “Gangsters,” “A Message to You Rudy” and “Ghost Town,” then formed Fun Boy Three with Terry Hall and Lynval Golding. The Specials’ 2009 reunion took Staple across the UK and included a performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival. After further touring with the reunited group, he returned to leading the Neville Staple Band, whose full-band sets draw on his solo work and songs by The Specials and Fun Boy Three.
