Rebelution in Costa Mesa

Rebelution is an American reggae-rock band formed in Isla Vista, California, in 2004. Their roots-reggae and dub-influenced catalog includes the albums Courage to Grow, Bright Side of Life and Falling Into Place, as well as songs such as “Safe and Sound” and “Feeling Alright.” The recurring Good Vibes Summer Tour has taken Rebelution to amphitheaters across the United States. They have also performed at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and appeared at the California Roots Music and Arts Festival in Monterey.

Skip Marley is a Jamaican singer-songwriter, born in Kingston in 1996, whose music is rooted in reggae and also draws on soul and pop. A grandson of Bob Marley and son of Cedella Marley, he is known for “Lions,” “Slow Down” featuring H.E.R., his appearance on Katy Perry’s “Chained to the Rhythm,” and the EP Higher Place. In 2017, Skip Marley joined Katy Perry to perform at the Grammy Awards and appeared with her again at the BRIT Awards. Later that year, he sang “Get Up, Stand Up” at the One Love Manchester benefit concert.
