Recondite in London

Recondite is the stage name of German electronic producer Lorenz Brunner, who comes from Lower Bavaria and established his Plangent Records label after moving to Berlin. His restrained, melodic techno and acid-rooted house are represented by albums including On Acid, Hinterland and Iffy, as well as tracks such as “Levo” and “Warg.” In 2011, Recondite played his first live set at Panorama Bar. A 2014 Boiler Room session subsequently documented his performance format, built around live renditions of his own electronic productions. He has since taken that set to major techno gatherings, including Time Warp in Mannheim and Awakenings in the Netherlands.
