Traumer in Ridgewood

Traumer is the DJ and recording alias of French producer Romain Reynaud, whose music centers on stripped-back house, minimal techno and deep club rhythms. Tracks including “Hoodlum” and “Classroom,” along with releases on his get-traum label, established the sound associated with the project. At Romania’s Sunwaves festival, Traumer has played extended DJ sets built around gradual transitions and tightly controlled grooves. That long-form approach also shapes his club appearances, including performances at fabric in London.
