Richard Marx in Portsmouth

Richard Marx is an American pop-rock singer-songwriter, born in Chicago in 1963. His self-titled debut established him through songs including “Should’ve Known Better” and “Hold On to the Nights,” while Repeat Offender produced “Satisfied” and “Right Here Waiting.” “Hazard,” from Rush Street, became another signature song. An Acoustic Evening with Richard Marx and Rick Springfield paired the two singer-songwriters for a joint tour built around their respective catalogues. Marx later returned to theatres with a full band for The Songwriter Tour.
