Robby Krieger in West Hollywood

Robby Krieger is an American guitarist and songwriter, born in Los Angeles in 1946 and best known as a founding member of the Doors. He wrote “Love Me Two Times,” “Touch Me” and “Love Her Madly,” and originated the main composition for “Light My Fire.” His solo catalogue includes the jazz-rock album Robby Krieger & Friends. In 1968, Robby Krieger played the Hollywood Bowl with the Doors, who later performed at the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970. Beginning in 2002, he toured the band’s music with Ray Manzarek under the names The Doors of the 21st Century, Riders on the Storm and Manzarek–Krieger. His own headline sets feature the Robby Krieger Band and combine solo work with songs by the Doors.
