Artists
Rodney Atkins is an American country singer and songwriter, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and raised in Cumberland Gap. His best-known songs include “If You’re Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows),” “Watching You,” “These Are My People,” “Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy)” and “Take a Back Road.” The Take a Back Road Tour featured Rodney Atkins as the headliner, supported by Josh Thompson and Frankie Ballard. His concert history also includes appearances at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
Eddie Montgomery is an American country singer from Danville, Kentucky, best known as one half of Montgomery Gentry. The duo’s plainspoken, Southern-rock-edged country produced songs including “My Town,” “Hell Yeah,” “Something to Be Proud Of” and “If You Ever Stop Loving Me.” His solo work includes the album Ain’t No Closing Me Down. Brooks & Dunn’s 2001 Neon Circus & Wild West Show took Montgomery Gentry to arenas across the United States. The duo joined the Grand Ole Opry in 2009, adding its Nashville stage to a schedule that also included theatres, casinos, fairs and country festivals. After Troy Gentry died in 2017, Eddie Montgomery chose to keep touring, performing the Montgomery Gentry catalogue in his solo concerts.
