Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers in San Juan Capistrano

Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers are an American rock band formed in Tempe, Arizona, in 1998 by singer-guitarist Roger Clyne and drummer P.H. Naffah after The Refreshments disbanded. Their desert-rooted rock draws on Americana and alt-country, heard on albums including Honky Tonk Union and Americano; their repertoire also carries forward Refreshments songs such as “Banditos,” “Down Together” and “Mekong.” The band documented its stage repertoire in Fort Worth on Live at Billy Bob’s Texas. It has also returned repeatedly to the traveling festival The Rock Boat and headlined clubs and theatres around the United States. The group established Circus Mexicus as a recurring concert weekend in Mexico. Its winter counterpart, January Jam, is held in Puerto Peñasco.
