Rx Bandits in Chicago

Rx Bandits are an American rock band formed in Seal Beach, California, in 1995. Originally called the Pharmaceutical Bandits, they moved beyond their ska-punk roots into progressive rock and reggae, becoming known for albums including Halfway Between Here and There, The Resignation and ...And the Battle Begun, as well as songs such as “Analog Boy” and “Sell You Beautiful.” Rx Bandits appeared repeatedly on the Warped Tour during their ska-punk years, then brought their increasingly progressive material to Bonnaroo in 2007. After a 2011 farewell tour, they resumed performing and played The Resignation in full on The Resignation 10th Anniversary Tour in 2013.

Catbite is an American ska-punk band formed in Philadelphia in 2018. Their brisk ska rhythms and punk guitars are heard across the albums Catbite and Nice One, which include songs such as “Excuse Me Miss” and “Call Your Bluff.” At The Fest in Gainesville in 2022, the band joined Laura Jane Grace for a set devoted to Operation Ivy songs. The collaboration returned for another Operation Ivy performance at Riot Fest in Chicago in 2023.
