Sam Bettens is a Belgian singer-songwriter and the lead vocalist of alternative-rock band K’s Choice, formed with his brother Gert Bettens. His best-known recordings include K’s Choice’s “Not an Addict” and the album Paradise in Me; his solo catalogue includes Scream and Shine, released under the name Sarah Bettens. K’s Choice opened concerts for Alanis Morissette during the Jagged Little Pill Tour, followed by an appearance at Lilith Fair in 1998. Solo tours accompanied Scream and Shine, and he later returned to Rock Werchter as the singer of K’s Choice.
