Sam Smith is a British singer-songwriter born in London in 1992, known for pop and soul songs built around their distinctive vocal performances. Their vocals appeared on Disclosure’s “Latch” and Naughty Boy’s “La La La” before the debut album In the Lonely Hour produced “Stay with Me” and “I’m Not the Only One.” Later releases include the James Bond theme “Writing’s on the Wall” and “Unholy,” recorded with Kim Petras. The In the Lonely Hour Tour took them through theatres and arenas in 2015. The Thrill of It All Tour expanded that arena schedule in 2018 and 2019, followed by Gloria the Tour in 2023. That production reached Madison Square Garden in New York.
