Sammy Hagar in Colorado Springs

Sammy Hagar is an American rock singer and guitarist, born in 1947. He sang on Montrose’s self-titled debut before establishing a solo catalog that includes “I Can’t Drive 55” and “There’s Only One Way to Rock.” He became Van Halen’s vocalist in 1985 and recorded albums including 5150, OU812, For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge and Balance with the band. Van Halen’s 5150 Tour took him into arenas in 1986, followed by the Monsters of Rock stadium tour in 1988. In 2024, The Best of All Worlds Tour revisited songs from across his career in a band featuring Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani and Jason Bonham. He staged the Sammy Hagar & Friends residency at The STRAT Theater in Las Vegas and has long held his Birthday Bash at Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
