Samuli Edelmann is a Finnish singer and actor, born in Pori in 1968, whose music spans pop and iskelmä. His debut album Pienestä kii introduced “Peggy,” while “Tähtipölyä” became another enduring song in his catalogue. He has also recorded the Virsiä albums, built around interpretations of Finnish hymns. Following the first Virsiä album in 2007, he presented the hymn repertoire in concerts at churches across Finland. He has also performed his pop catalogue in theatres and at festivals, including concerts billed with Orkestra Suora Lähetys.
