Sunny Day Service is a Japanese rock band formed in Tokyo in 1992 and led by singer-songwriter Keiichi Sokabe. Their indie rock and guitar pop draw on folk rock, and their best-known records include the albums “Tokyo” and “Sunny Day Service” and the songs “Seishun Kyosokyoku” and “Summer Soldier.” After breaking up in 2000, Sunny Day Service reunited in 2008 and resumed live performances. They subsequently toured Japan and performed at Fuji Rock Festival.
