Comedian
Sarah Silverman is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer, born in New Hampshire in 1970. She is known for the series The Sarah Silverman Program, the stand-up film Jesus Is Magic and the specials We Are Miracles, A Speck of Dust and Someone You Love. Her comedy addresses religion, sex, prejudice and politics through a deliberately guileless stage persona. Jesus Is Magic began as a one-woman stage show before becoming a concert film in 2005. She later recorded We Are Miracles before an audience at Largo in Los Angeles, while Someone You Love was filmed at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston.
