SARD UNDERGROUND is a Japanese pop-rock band formed in Osaka in 2018, with a repertoire closely connected to the music of ZARD. The group debuted with the cover album ZARD tribute and later released “Sukoshi Zutsu Sukoshi Zutsu,” a song built around lyrics left by ZARD vocalist Izumi Sakai and used as an ending theme for Detective Conan. SARD UNDERGROUND LIVE TOUR 2021 [Cheers!] presented the band’s original releases together with songs associated with ZARD. A year later, the group returned for SARD UNDERGROUND LIVE TOUR 2022 [in the twilight], retaining a full-band format and a set that joined its own material to the ZARD catalogue.
