Artist
SASAMI is the solo project of American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sasami Ashworth, based in Los Angeles. A classically trained French horn player and former member of Cherry Glazerr, she established her own catalogue with the shoegaze and art rock of SASAMI, the industrial rock and metal of Squeeze, and the pop-focused Blood on the Silver Screen. The 2019 touring cycle behind SASAMI took her through club rooms and to Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. The Squeeze cycle later brought a heavier full-band set to Coachella in Indio in 2022.
