Schiller in Salzgitter

Schiller is a German electronic music project founded in 1998 by Christopher von Deylen and Mirko von Schlieffen, and later continued by von Deylen alone. Its atmospheric mix of ambient, chillout, trance and electropop is heard on albums including Weltreise, Leben and Tag und Nacht, and in songs such as “Das Glockenspiel,” “Dream of You” and “I Feel You.” Schiller took Leben on tour in 2004, presenting the electronic material through keyboards, a live band and guest vocalists. Tours connected to Tag und Nacht, Sehnsucht and Atemlos followed, while the 2014 Symphonia concert paired the music with an orchestra at Berlin’s Gendarmenmarkt. The later Klangwelten concerts placed Christopher von Deylen’s keyboards and instrumental compositions at the centre of the performance.
