Artists
Sergei Dogadin is a Russian violinist, born in 1988, who performs classical and contemporary concerto and recital repertoire. He won First Prize and the Gold Medal at the 2019 International Tchaikovsky Competition after taking First Prize at the 2018 Singapore International Violin Competition. Sergei Dogadin has performed with the Mariinsky Orchestra under Valery Gergiev and the St Petersburg Philharmonic under Yuri Temirkanov. He has also appeared at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Rheingau Music Festival. Vienna appearances have included the Musikverein, while in Tokyo he has performed at Suntory Hall.
Daniil Trifonov is a Russian pianist and composer, born in Nizhny Novgorod in 1991. He won First Prize and the Grand Prix at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011. His recordings include the Liszt collection Transcendental and the two-part Destination Rachmaninov project. His 2013 Carnegie Hall recital debut was released as the live album Trifonov: The Carnegie Recital. He returned in the 2017–18 season as a Perspectives artist, presenting solo, chamber and orchestral programs. The following season, he served as artist-in-residence with the Berlin Philharmonic. He has given recitals at Royal Festival Hall in London and appeared with orchestra at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
