shame in Manchester

shame are a British post-punk band formed in South London in 2014. Their guitar-led sound and Charlie Steen’s forceful vocals became known through songs including “Concrete,” “One Rizla” and “Alphabet,” and the albums Songs of Praise, Drunk Tank Pink and Food for Worms. shame played early shows at The Windmill in Brixton, a venue closely connected to the South London scene around the band. Tours behind Drunk Tank Pink and Food for Worms later took the five-piece through clubs and larger concert rooms, including a headline date at Troxy. The band has also brought its full live set to Glastonbury and Primavera Sound.
