Shannon Shaw is an American singer, songwriter and bassist, best known as the lead vocalist of the Oakland garage-rock band Shannon and the Clams. Her solo work draws on soul, country and early pop; her debut album, Shannon in Nashville, was produced by Dan Auerbach and includes “Broke My Own” and “Freddies ’n’ Teddies.” In 2018, Shannon Shaw performed songs from the album during the Easy Eye Sound Revue tour, backed by the house band assembled by Dan Auerbach.
