Silvina Garre in Buenos Aires

Silvina Garre is an Argentine singer-songwriter from Rosario whose work spans rock and canción popular. She first became widely known as a vocalist in Juan Carlos Baglietto’s group and through “Era en abril,” then established a solo catalogue that includes the albums La mañana siguiente and Creerás en milagros, as well as songs such as “Canción del pinar” and “Tréboles de cuatro hojas.” In 1982, Silvina Garre performed with Baglietto’s band during the presentation of Tiempos difíciles at Obras Sanitarias. Their later reunion produced the concert album Juntos en el Teatro Ópera, a record of her long-running stage partnership with Juan Carlos Baglietto.
