Skunk Anansie are a British alternative-rock band formed in London in 1994 and fronted by Skin. Their hard-edged guitars, politically direct writing and Skin’s vocals shaped albums including Paranoid & Sunburnt, Stoosh and Post Orgasmic Chill. “Weak,” “Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good)” and “Charlie Big Potato” are among their best-known songs. In 1999, Skunk Anansie headlined Glastonbury Festival after several years of extensive touring. The band reunited in 2009 and returned to the road around the compilation Smashes & Trashes, followed by further album tours. The 25LIVE@25 tour later celebrated their first quarter-century through concerts across Europe. Their festival history also includes performances at Rock am Ring in Germany and Pinkpop in the Netherlands.
