Slow Magic in Minneapolis

Slow Magic is an anonymous electronic music project that began releasing music in 2011. Its dreamy chillwave and downtempo sound took shape on the albums Triangle, How to Run Away and Float, including tracks such as “Girls,” “Corvette Cassette” and “Waited 4 U.” The musician performs behind a brightly colored animal mask and keeps personal identity out of the project. In 2014, Slow Magic joined ODESZA for dates on the In Return tour. The performance combines electronic tracks with live percussion, and the masked musician is known to carry a drum into the audience. Slow Magic brought that drum-led show to Coachella in 2015.
