Artist
Soda Stereo is an Argentine rock trio formed in Buenos Aires in 1982 by Gustavo Cerati, Zeta Bosio and Charly Alberti. Their new wave and alternative-rock catalog includes the songs “De música ligera,” “Persiana americana” and “Cuando pase el temblor,” as well as the albums Signos and Canción Animal. The 1997 farewell tour ended at Estadio Monumental, where Cerati delivered the phrase “gracias totales” before the final encore. A decade later, Me Verás Volver reunited the trio for a stadium tour through the Americas. For the Gracias Totales shows, Bosio and Alberti performed with a live band and guest vocalists, while the production incorporated archival audio and video of Cerati. Soda Stereo played stadium concerts at Foro Sol in Mexico City and Estadio Nacional in Santiago.
