Artist
Solstice are an English epic doom metal band formed in 1990 by guitarist Rich Walker. Their catalogue is centred on the albums Lamentations, New Dark Age and White Horse Hill, which pair traditional heavy-metal guitar work with long, weighty compositions. Solstice have performed at Keep It True in the Tauberfrankenhalle and at Hammer of Doom in Würzburg’s Posthalle, placing the band in the halls used by Europe’s specialist traditional-metal festivals. Their live history also includes an appearance in Tilburg at Roadburn.
